Monroeville Main Street is celebrating National Astronomy Month by looking to the stars — and to our community’s growing interest in science and discovery. Through our Science Discovery on Main Street initiative, we’re exploring new ways to bring astronomy and STEM learning downtown. Plans include public stargazing nights, NASA and Dark Skies speakers, hands-on demonstrations, and meetings with a local astronomy club.
This effort aims to connect residents and visitors of all ages with the wonders of the night sky while supporting education, tourism, and community engagement. Monroeville has always been a place that inspires imagination and creativity — and now, we’re adding a little science to the story.
Stay tuned for more details about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved in our community’s journey of discovery on Main Street.
